Grammar:
Grammar assignments are to be completed in students' composition notebooks. Assignments will be given roughly every two weeks opposite vocabulary assignments. They will count toward students' overall composition notebook grade. District curriculum for 6th grade grammar includes the following topics:
- Subjects
- Objects
- Predicates
- Pronouns (use and agreement)

Grammar #1: Complete Sentences - Due 10/12
A complete sentence must have both a subject and a verb and be an independent clause. Something must be done by something or someone and the thought must be complete. Copy each example into your composition notebooks and mark them with a “C” for “complete” or an “F” for “fragment.” Give a brief explanation as to why you marked each as you did.

2. Because she didn’t do her homework.
3. When he’s finished with that.
4. After he cleans his room, Jake can go to the game.
5. While watching the Olympics on Tv.
